@@user-dl6pb2ib7l Actually there's 6 Once Upon A Time books and you can get them almost anywhere where they sell books. There's 3 tie-in novels, 2 comics and 1 novelisation of the first season. The first novel is Red's Untold Tale and it's about Red's childhood, the beginning of her relationship with Peter, her struggle with her wolf nightmares, the origins of her hood etc. The second novel is called Regina Rising and it gives some more insights into Regina's childhood and her relationship with Cora. It also provides origin stories for the scar on Regina's lip, the poisoned apple and how the Blind Witch got her hands on it. And then the third novel is Henry and Violet and it's basically as described in the video. Then there's the comics, which were released by Marvel Comics. The first comic is called Shadow of the Queen and it's basically about the Huntsman and the Queen as well as Snow White and Red and follows up on the storyline of Red accidentally killing her mother aka the leader of the werewolf pack. The there is Out of the Past which is a comic consisting of 4 seperate stories, one about Killian coping with Liam's death, one about Rumple learning to trust Belle and about how Rumple got Pandora's Box, one about the Evil Queen being haunted by Daniel's death and one about how Jefferson's wife died because of his work. And finally there's Reawakened: A Once Upon a Time tale. It's basically just a novelisation of season 1 but it only focuses on Emma and Snow. Therefore I felt like the other characters kind of fell flat, so I wouldn't necessarily recommend that one. Also this book is not canon but all the others are (even though there are some inconsistencies)

Very few people in the Enchanted Forest have confirmed last names. It's never been confirmed that Mills was Regina's original last name but it is likely as her grandfather was a miller.

The other flashbacks take place at the time where the original timeline has the first years of the curse (because time runs significantly faster in the New Enchanted Forest). Then there's a gap in the timeline of 28ish years and even more years in the NEF where something is affecting time so the characters are the age they are at the beginning of season 7.

It's difficult to pin down when exactly tho bc in order to calculate how fast the time in the NEF is, we'd have to know how long Henry's stay in the NEF Forest is and how old he actually is. So yeah most of it takes place when Emma is a baby/toddler. And then the season 6 stuff obviously takes place during season 6.
